FRESH CUT FLOWERS

  • Be careful when moving a bouquet. Each box contains water and should not be tilted.
  • Keep bouquet away from direct sunlight, heat and cooling.
  • A cool area is recommended to yield the longest shelf life.
  • We already have given enough flower‐food for its own lifespan.
  • Upon receiving, we recommend 2‐4 oz. room‐temperature tap‐water with some lemon drop. Add the concentrate to the center of the arrangement every other day.

PRESERVED ROSES

  • Be careful when carrying the box. It is a very delicate product.
  • Do not water preserved flowers or trees.
  • Do not place anything on top of the flowers.
  • For flowers in the box, do not cover/close the box. The lid is meant to stay on the bottom or on the side.
  • Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat and cooling.

SHIPPING POLICY

Hand Delivery

Le Jardin NY offers hand delivery every day of the week from 9:00am trough 6:00pm EDT, including major holidays, in New York City, Brooklyn, Queens areas.

Please email us at info@lejardinny.com for availability.

We charge $15 flat fee for all hand deliveries, excluding preserved trees. Please contact info@lejardinny.com to arrange delivery of preserved tree.

US Shipping

Our flower arrangements, gourmet gift sets, vases and balloons, ship either via UPS or FedEx. All order placed before the typical 6:00pm EDT cut off time will ship the same day, except for special orders.

We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

Please keep in mind that we Do Not guarantee delivery dates offer trough UPS or FedEx, since this will be out of our hands once it leaves our studio.

All delivery options are available. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.

Shipping Experience

Le Jardin NY will make sure that your purchase is wrapped properly to last the journey to its end destination. Once you receive your package, kindly make sure to read the instructions to avoid damaging the arrangement.

Delivery Insurance

All orders shipped both domestically or internationally come with package insurance.

Le Jardin NY is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged goods once an order leaves our studio.

If you choose a specific delivery date when placing your order, we will do our best to arrange delivery for that day. You acknowledge that requested delivery dates are non-binding estimates only and that you have no claim against us for any delays or early deliveries. Once your order is in the hands of the carrier we have no control over the delivery process and we recommend you choose a delivery date at least one day early to avoid disappointment. We reserve the right to make deliveries in installments which shall not relieve you from your obligation to accept and pay for remaining deliveries.

RETURN POLICY

Unfortunately, Le Jardin NY does not accept returns for any of our products. All Sales are final and non-refundable. If you would like to cancel an order, please contact us at info@lejardinny.com before the scheduled delivery, with any questions, comments, and concerns, and a design specialist will do everything possible to help. We are happy to answer any of your questions.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

SECTION 4 - BIGCOMMERCE

Our store is hosted on Bigcommerce Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Bigcommerce’s data storage, databases and the general Bigcommerce application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Bigcommerce stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

PAYMENT

You must pay in full by debit, credit card or PayPal Secure Checkout in advance when you submit an order through our Website.

Payment will be collected at the time of placing the order. Full payment must be received in advance before any goods are prepared or dispatched. If any payment is subsequently withdrawn, disputed, charged back or reversed in any way by you, you will have to pay the full amount of the sale, plus an administration fee and any additional fees incurred by Le Jardin NY. If you are placing an order through a company, we may agree to credit terms via a separate written agreement. Please contact us to make arrangements.

Le Jardin NY cannot confirm the price of an item until after your order is placed.

Pricing errors may occur on the Le Jardin NY.  Le Jardin NY reserves the right to cancel any orders containing pricing errors, with no further obligations to you, even after your receipt of an order confirmation or shipping notice from Le Jardin NY.  Le Jardin NY may, at its discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.  Pricing for products may be different on the Le Jardin NY website vs. products in store.

 

 

 

 

 

FAQ

 

Q: What are Preserved Flowers?

A: Preserved flowers are a viable alternative to fresh flowers, offering longevity, unique characteristics of flexibility and durability.

A flower that looks and feels like a freshly-cut flower and yet can last longer. These flowers cannot be compared with dried, freeze-dried or silk flowers. Preserved roses are real fresh cut flowers. They are treated with a non-toxic, non-allergenic wax formula that allows them to last up to one year. In order to preserve this product, an advanced technical process is used whereby the natural sap in real flowers are replaced with a liquid mixture of glycerin, water and coloring. They look and feel just like natural fresh cut flowers, they look completely natural but also last for up to a year!

Q: What technique is used to preserve flowers?

A: To preserve flowers you need fresh raw material and that is why producers of fresh roses and flowers are producing an optimal finished product.

The stem of the flower or rose is sliced at an angle a few centimeters below the head. The head is placed in a plastic container that matches the shape of the flower. This allows the petals to be perfect during the various stages of the process.

The first stage, means the flower is in a bath of pure alcohol. The alcohol must be undenatured and free of water: the same alcohol used within distillation. For safety reasons, the ideal is to use ethanol. This stage has the effect of dehydrating the flower while retaining its original shape. Within this operation a discoloration of the flower takes the flower to a champagne color. This process can last 24 hours.

The next day, the same flowers are immersed in a bath allowing the rehydration of the flower. This bath is composed of alcohol, propylene glycol, a little bit of glycerin and food coloring. The color of the rose will be defined by the chosen dye. The Alcohol acts as a catalyst. As for propylene glycol, it absorbs into the petals to rehydrate.

24 hours later, the magic has happened, and the flower is complete. Left to dry for another day. A final quality control is completed, and the flowers are packaged.

Our arrangements are, of course natural, and we conserve them without the use of toxic chemicals, plastics or synthetic fibers – meaning they look and feel as natural as they did out in the rose-fields of Ecuador, Spain and Kenya.

Won’t Attract Dust 
Conserved fora can’t generate or hold an electrostatic charge, and as such, will not attract dust in the same way as artificial fora.

Environmentally Friendly
With their long shelf life, and the low energy costs of transporting and storing them, the carbon
